Prior to 1994, there was no running club, no calendar,
no coordinated way to find out about races. Races
were struggling to find runners and runners couldn't
find races. Our first race calendar had but a few
races. The EER&TRC assisted all east end races
and started a few of our own. The first year we started
three new races. Today it's hard to find a weekend to
start a new race, because the calendar is full.
